We first crossed paths in 2011 at AXA Czech Republic & Slovakia. Running a large corporate taught us a lot, but it also showed us the limits. We asked ourselves:
„What if business could be built differently? What if we can cross corporate borders and explore our entrepreneurial minds?“
The turning point came with a bold vision: to build a new kind of insurance company. Alongside like-minded colleagues who believed in the same vision, we learned that success tastes different when the risk, the effort, and the ambition are truly shared.

We started build the company from scratch in several European countries, while at the same time transforming run-off businesses in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. That’s how YOUPLUS was built and in few years became one of the fastest-growing insurance stories in Europe — entrepreneurial, scalable, and proof that strategy and execution can go hand in hand.
This journey was our school. We built greenfield operations from scratch, led M&A integrations, designed digital-first models, and drove cultural change across countries from Central Europe to Scandinavia. We learned how different national and management cultures work — and how much stronger results can be when you combine them.
