In Switzerland and Liechtenstein, we worked on a run-off portfolio with the challenge of achieving profitability without external financing. We applied a dual approach:
Exploitation: improving efficiency, reducing costs, and extracting embedded value.
Exploration: investing in digital platforms, AI-based underwriting, and new market opportunities.
This ambidexterity became a blueprint for sustainable growth.
In Central Europe, we were part of a large insurer’s profitability transformation. The challenge was to shift a traditional corporate, fraudulant and not profitable business into a leaner, more competitive and compliant organization. We drove restructuring, cost optimization, quality in distribution, delivering significantly improved profitability while stabilizing customer trust.
More recently, in a European group, we led a commercial transformation focused on growth. The task was to redesign processes and approach within commercial department, bring new clients and create new revenue streams. By rethinking incentives, aligning strategy with execution, and embedding entrepreneurial ownership, we created a structure that delivered measurable commercial uplift.
